After us taking the hard decision that we would no longer be running to the school every day. As this was now starting to have an impact on our family life me and their Dad started working different shifts so there was always someone at home because the fixed term exclusions were becoming that often that we knew we couldn’t make it through a week without one of the twins being at home.
The SENCO called us in for a meeting saying they wanted to try and register the twins on the SEN register but there was no category that they fitted in to. I very politely said yes there is section 7 EBD ( emotional behaviour dificulties) That was the point where she knew I was learning the system quickly and I had out smarted her in her so called area of expertise.
I think this was the start of the relationship between us and school starting to break down even more.
